Low Barrier Housing

The Harm Reduction Program is a low-barrier residential program supporting youth who are street-entrenched and experiencing substance misuse or addiction. Using a harm reduction, trauma-informed, and attachment-based approach, we provide a safe, stable, and supportive housing environment.

With 24/7 staff availability, youth have consistent access to care and support. Addiction Support Workers conduct outreach within the community, meeting youth where they are and providing basic needs, harm reduction supplies, naloxone kits, and survival essentials such as blankets and hand warmers.

Our Addiction Support Workers, Resource Coordinators, and Program Supervisor collaborate with community partners to reduce barriers and connect youth to additional services as needed. The entire support team works from a strength-based, non-judgmental framework to promote physical and emotional wellness while reducing the harms associated with substance use.

The program empowers youth to make informed choices about their health and goals. We support a range of pathways, including safer substance use, reduced use, or abstinence  - based on each youth’s individual goals and readiness for change.
