
Complaint Form
Anika Youth Services (AYS) is committed to providing a safe, non-threatening process for reporting issues, complaints, or grievances. All staff, youth, and stakeholders are informed of their rights and the complaint process during orientation and annual reviews.
Complaints can be made in person, by phone, or in writing. Staff are available to assist anyone who needs help submitting a complaint. All complaints are treated seriously, investigated as appropriate, and handled without any risk of reprisal.
If a complaint cannot be satisfactorily resolved, individuals have the right to escalate it to the appropriate authorities, such as the Child/Youth Family Advocate, Children’s Commission, Ombudsman, MP, or MLA.
AYS strives to resolve disagreements using a conflict resolution process whenever possible. All complaints and their resolutions are documented, and individuals are informed of outcomes within 30 days.
